Inbound Marketing vs. Digital Marketing

Inbound marketing is a way of marketing, where it uses digital marketing assets to attract customers for engagement and conversion. It involves the pushing of the product to their potential customers. Whereas, digital marketing is a wider area to cover which includes different aspects of being present online with your business for the audience. These include services like SEO, Content marketing, Social media marketing, Display advertising, etc.

Here Inbound marketing can be included with digital marketing as tactics of any kind, regardless of what is involved can be considered inbound or outbound marketing. 

Digital marketing is mainly clubbed with inbound marketing, but nothing differentiates between ‘inbound and outbound’ methods of marketing. Where as, Inbound marketing is a marketing technique that denotes the importance of content creation to attract customers and to close them within your sales funnel.

There are three important reasons how inbound marketing works better than other methods if you are able to click on the right way.

    • It lets customers reach you on their terms because instead of you reaching out to them they read and on the TV channels they watch, you publish information on your site and make it easy for them to find it in search engines like Google.
    • It always moves leads through the sales funnel. A researched and well versed marketing strategy will have the industry information at the sales funnel top, company specific detail in the middle and the pricing part in the bottom of the funnel where the audience is about to get converted to your buyer.
